It would appear that I don't like to talk to people. Sure, I don't mind the occasional chit-chat about what's been going on, but its not my forte. My brother once told it to me bluntly (as he does on a regular basis.) He said "You don't like conversations, you like discussions." And its true. I wish I could just walk up to people and ask them what their opinion is on religion. But i can't, it's a longer process than that and takes a long time to develop. One of my favourite topics to discuss is dreams. For instance you know that feeling when you're in a dream but something alarming happens so you suddenly jerk upwards. It happens to me all the time. Another favourtie of mine is telling people that i sleep oddly. Most people, it would appear, sleep on their side, but i sleep on my front. This leads to all kinds of respiratory and logical problems. Including extreme pins-and-needles in the morning. One of my favourite threories about dreams is that once you know that you're in a dream you can control it, but this just isn't true. I can't count the times I've known very well that I'm in a dream...but STILL can't fly. What does it take to fly around here?
But seriously, dreams are weird. I have this theory that when you get dejavu, it's because you've previously dreamed something happening, and its come true. Dreams are very confusing. "Inception" was somewhat correct when it talked about dreams. Dreams are very strange, but they only seem strange once you've woken up. It is only then that you realise that your dreams were not normal, but absurd.
We as humans often create ideal worlds in our dreams, and we are disappointed when we wake up, for we then realise that our lives are never as interesting as we hoped they would be.
I vow from now and onwards, to strive for a better dreams, this way when I wake up I will feel happy. Happy that life is not only going extremely well for me, but also that it is doing better than my subconscious can imagine. Now THAT's saying something. It seems impossble, but we are all, striving for it.
I like to discuss and debate, but seriously...cut the chit-chat! Its boring.
